We are seeking a highly motivated, emotionally intelligent, and professional Virtual Assistant to join our team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR). This position is call-heavy, with an expected call volume of 100-150 calls per day.
This is not a cold-calling role – all calls are service-related. You will be assisting existing customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, an excellent communicator, and skilled at handling occasional irate or frustrated customers with empathy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle 100–150 inbound and outbound service calls per day in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction on every call.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Navigate customer service software and CRM tools efficiently to log details and track interactions.
- Follow communication scripts and standard operating procedures while applying sound judgment.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Meet or exceed daily call volume, quality, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in customer service, call center, or virtual assistant roles (preferably in a U.S.-based support environment).
- Exceptional verbal communication and listening skills in English.
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to de-escalate challenging interactions.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and call-handling software.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.

We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team assisting a highly successful Commercial Lines Insurance Agency in their Customer Service Department. The CSR will be responsible for confirming data, cross-referencing, verifications and email correspondence, as well as delivering exceptional personalized customer service via phone and email. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication, organizational, and prioritization skills, along with a meticulous attention to detail. He/she should be capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and performing well under pressure. The ability to work effectively and professionally in a team environment is crucial. A strong willingness to learn new processes and software systems, coupled with above-average computer literacy, is essential for this position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist and support an Insurance Agency in their Customer Service Department via email and phone
- Confirming data and cross-referencing in order to ensure that crucially important data is accurate
- Verification of information
- Pre-and post sale administration of personal and commercial insurance policies
- Accurately document and process customer information into various software systems
- Learn and follow all required scripts, policies and procedures
- Comply with requirements surrounding confidential and personal information
- Obtain and capture information accurately, followed by submitting information to the necessary recipients
- General administrative duties
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be well spoken and fluent in English with the ability to liaise with international clients
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent computer skills in order to navigate a variety of software systems
- Excellent data entry and typing skills
- Customer service oriented (positive, helpful, patient, responsive and empathic)
- Ability to multi-task and stay focused, and self-managed, working productively, independently
