Welcome to Remote Insurance Team

Are you new to the world of outsourcing?
We’ve put together a very short guide explaining some basic terminology and what it means.

When an external services provider performs tasks that are normally done by an in-house staff member.

It refers to Busines Process Outsourcing. It is another term used to refer to the process of outsourcing.

It is the process of basing some of a company’s processes or services overseas.

Total outsourcing means you sign a contract for a comprehensive service by an external provider. Selective outsourcing means you select which areas to cover with the contract.

These outsourcing models refer to the place in which your external service provider lives and works. An example of this is whether the service provider is expected to come work from your office, or if they can work for you while living in another country.

This refers to the ownership and responsibility aspects of the relationship between the client and the external services provider. Every situation will have a difference weighting of how much each party is responsible for.
